I got the chance again! =D

Received a call just now! Someone couldn't work for the rest of days so I'm asked to replace him! I'm so lucky! =D Luckily I need not go to Jurong Shipyard tomorrow. =D After this SITEX show, I'll be working at the Jurong Shipyard as a temporary admin assistant. The job scope sounds challenging, I have to complete some filing, data entry, etc by 2 weeks. After that, my in-charge will teach me some advanced excel skills and how to use some impressive software (forget what is that called :p). Looking forward to working there! =D

Tmr will be my first day of work at SITEX! Hope everything goes well! =D

I lost my job... =(

Last night, I received a msg asking me to report to work by 10am. But a few hours later, I received another msg telling me that there's a need to cut down manpower, so I was 'cut down'. I was very looking forward to working at the SITEX show, but I guess I'm not fated to. Anyway, I went for the training and picked up some knowledge about LCD monitors, so I did gain some thing. =D The person who trained me was very patient and answered every questions I asked him. I thanked him for sharing his knowledge with me. =D Though I failed to work at the IT show this year, I will try again next year. Knowledge is power. I guess I'll have to gain more IT knowledge to successfully secure a job at SITEX next year. =D

I love my work! =D

Hello everyone! Many of us are on holiday now and are looking for jobs. But I noticed many around me only talk about looking for jobs but only a handful really take a step forward to look for one. No offense to anyone. I am once like that too. =D I hope that by opening this blog, I could share with all of you the fun of working. Enjoy working now, if not, when we officially step into the society to work, it's not easy for us to find it enjoyable. =D

People who knows me well enough will understand that I have a passion in looking for jobs during holidays. Why am I always so enthu about looking for jobs? Cos I love to gain the experience at work. You'll meet all kinds of people, good or bad. It's a good preparation for us before stepping into the society to work, officially. So what's your purpose of looking for a job? =D

I may not be an expert in looking for jobs but I can share with you my experience in looking for jobs. Feel free to ask me. =D I have some good websites to look for jobs, ask from me if you want. =D

Try earning your own allowance, support yourself during this holiday, the satisfaction you'll have, is indescribable. =D
