Ubin & K =D

Pulau Ubin again! =D This time with my brothers and cousin Xiao Jun. Cousin Zhong Xian should have joined us but he overslept! So we decided to leave without him and meet him later. Was really worried that the weather would turn bad but it was fantastic! =D Rented our bikes for $8 each. The vendors there hiked up the price cos it was a Sunday and next day is a PH, so there was really damn lots of people there. We reached there around 1am plus and headed to Chek Jawa. Second time going there and no luck again. The tide was very high. Saw nothing much except for mud skippers and mini crabs.
On top of the Viewing Tower
One part of the bridge was dented. Some were afraid to cross
while other inconsiderate ones actually happily jump
and stand on that portion to soak their feet.

After that, we explored the island. Without any guide and being a smart aleck, we based on our instincts to decide which route to take. And almost every time, we were wrong and rode to a dead end. Was very sian when we kept bumping into dead ends but it was really fun. There were numerous up and down slopes and I would always be the one lagging behind when we were going upslope, cos I would end up push up the bike instead! Old and fat le, no stamina. Haha! =D Though I kept complaining, the ride was very enjoyable. When we finally reached back to the jetty, we noticed that the restaurants there were really packed. Looks like Pulau Ubin is still an attractive place to people. Being under the Sun for more than 3hrs, we straightaway head to the hawker at Changi Village when we reached mainland for some ice. Cooling! =D
I was lagging behind most of the time so I was able to get this shot. =D
On the boat.
Gor gor was sleeping so we camwhored ourselves. =D

After some discussion, we decided to go back home to wash up first before head down to Upp Thomson for dinner and K. This time Zhong Xian joined us. Xiao Jun managed to locate a vegetarian stall for me at Upp Thomson. It is a zi char stall and their business seems to be quite good. I tried their hor fun and fried carrot cake. Definitely will go back there again! Yumilicious! =D Anyway, we were going to be late for the K session so we da bao our food there. The boss was kind enough to allow us to bring our food in. There, we celebrated Zhong Xian's birthday in advance. It was a surprise for him. Had a very enjoyable singing session till 11pm. Cost $16.50 per person, so much cheaper than Kbox and Partyworld, almost half the price. Thanks to Ming Yun for her recommendation. Ya, we happened to get the same room as the last time Ming Yun brought Yi Siang and I there. =D
