Long update...

It's been more than a month since I blog! I'm still surviving! =D

UOB
I've tendered my resignation. 27th will be my last day at UOB. =D Regret not putting an earlier date. Sian. Still have to go back to HR on 1st to return their stuff. Haix. Nevermind, at least I can start focusing on running bazaars and telemarketing(if they still want me). And and and... I don't have to go to the mountains anymore!!! Don't have to go to bukit batok, bukit timah, upp bukit timah and bukit panjang anymore! Felt very bullied leh, everytime they as me travel to the mountains. Believe it's cos I'm the youngest so they think I should have the stamina to travel ba.

CNY Day 1
It was a Sunday so went for service first with Ben. Wasn't too insightful to me but quite enjoy the singing part. After that, went home to change before heading to my cousin's house for our yearly gathering.
Papparazi Mr Ben taking a shot of me combing my hair
Don't secretly snap me leh. Let me post first la. =D
Couple shots =D
Setting off =D
Don't mistaken, Ben didn't accompany me to my cousin's house. He had to spend time with his family too. =D

As usual, we gathered at our cousin's house for some chatting session and gradually moved on to some gambling session. But I didn't get myself involved in the gambling session. Don't like to gamble. Instead, I became the nanny of the day. Played the passing ball game with my cute niece. Was still enjoyable at the start but really didn't expect a little girl to have so much stamina. Kept coaxing her to take a rest and play other less energy consuming game. Haha! Really old liao sia.

Left in the evening to wash up and prepare for our next programme of the day; KTV session at Chinatown 10dollars KTV. Was quite impressed by their layout and facilities. They have touch screen monitor to choose the songs. So fun man. Haha! =D The only thing that I don't like there is that they ate up 15mins of our K session. After which, we went to another cousin's house to have some chit chat session. Then, it was home sweet home. I was damn tired by then.

CNY Day 2
I love Chinatown! Went there with Ben though I just went the day before. There's so many cheap and beautiful dresses! Regret not going there to shop for my CNY clothes. Lots of interesting stuff there too. Felt like a tourist there. Practically wowed at everything I saw there. Ben especially love the antique shops. Will definitely go back there to shop! =D

In the evening, met up my cousins to watch Little Big Soldier at AMK Hub. Yup, this time Ben accompanied me. =D I find the movie worth watching. Impressed with Jackie Chan's acting and find Wang Lee Hom's acting not too bad. After the show, Ben went home cos it was quite late le, while we set of to my cousin's house. Wanted to play Wii but it wasn't working so ended up having a mini karaoke session. Chit chat abit then home sweet home again. =D

My CNY wasn't very happening but really enjoyed the catching up session with my relatives. =D

Bazaar
Recently just went for a bazaar at Sentosa Wavehouse on 20th and 21st February. I love the organiser! They are fantastic! The shoppers there are the best I've met so far! =D A pity that I couldn't manage to properly set up my booth on the first day, when it had the most crowd. Too many accessories. Didn't haven't the time to sort out the day before so for the whole of the first day just practically arranging, tagging the price on the accessories. The second day was much better cos I'e got eveything prepared but the crowd was smaller. Wanted to introduce my new selling concept but didn't have the chance to. But it's alright, it's still the best bazaar I've been to.

It will be impossible for me to make it to the bazaar if not for my dearest Ben's help! Cos my partner sharing the booth with me couldn't make it on the first day, so I offered to help her to transport her stuff and set up her booth. Yup, I'm over-helpful as usual. Luckily Ben wasn't confine that week. Love him to the max man! If not for him, it would be impossible for me to transport two luggages and one backpack there. Luckily, my partner has a van so at the end of the first day, she helped us to keep our stuff in her van and transport there the next day.

But the second day was really a very hard day for me. Only sold one blouse. (Hui Ping, I helped you sold your blouse, another $17 in your pocket.=D) And my accessories are not moving. Believe it's due to the price. For the next bazaar, I'm going to slash the price. 50% off. Still profit but not too much though. Better than nothing la. Anyway, the second day, I let out my superwoman power man. One big luggage, one big backpack and my beloved clothes rack. Can't believe I did it again man! I managed to drag those stuff frm the Wavehouse to Beach Station. As some may know, the distance isn't too long but it isn't short either. By the time I reached the station, I was perspiring like hell man! And the sentosa ushers are so 'helpful' to not offer me some help up the escalator cos the lift was down. Maybe they were too stunned by my superwoman power that they were too slow to react. I really think so leh. :p

Upcoming CVD
27th February will be CVD! Time to go back to YJ again! Don't quite know how to feel. It was the place where I'd fallen yet it was where I found great friends and teachers. Thinking of seeing ET again, I feel the sense of guilt. Though she keeps saying that she's not disappointed in me, I still feel that I've let her down, not once but twice. But what can I do now? Can only just carry on with what I want to do and not repeat the same mistake in uni. =D Anyway, I'm looking forward to going back YJ to see how ET is doing and also to meet up with the others. =D

Quick Updates

Busy busy busy... Going breathless with the workload. Nevertheless, I've gone back for kickboxing lesson with Hui Yin. Just had the first lesson on Friday night, and now my body and limbs are still aching like nobody's business. But it's a good to exercise after a day of hard work. =D

Some may know that I've been considering about this for quite some time. After reckoning my mind for the past few weeks, I've decided: I'm going to resign from my relatively high paying UOB job.

Reasons to stay:
1. $10 per hour! I'll have a steady income
2. I'm used to this job - Quite an easy job cos I'm in the relief pool so not much responsibility
3. Able to enjoy staff interest rates and other benefits

Reasons to leave:
1. Traveling to and fro to relief branches takes me approximately 2hrs
2. Being a relief, those permanent staff finds you very irritating whenever you need to empty
your cashbox to them at the end of your assignment
3. Weird working timing (11.30am to 4pm) - Can't really do anything before and after work
4. My parents food business is picking up, wish to help them out
5. Have been delaying my telemarketing job, feel the need to start ASAP
6. Wish to focus on finding ways to push the sales of Besties Closet
7. UOB won't be a job that I can carry on when I return to school later this year

So you see, there's more reasons for me to choose to leave than to stay. =D

To those who are concerned about my studies especially, I'm going back to school this year. =D Most probably going to SIM but have yet to decide if should go UOL or RMIT.

For those who would understand, I've decided to forgive him once again even though I was extremely firm not to forgive him anymore. The peace I get through my prayers revealed my soft heart once again. Dissolved my pain, and gave me the courage to give him another chance. But this time, I won't give as much as before cos I want to protect myself from being hurt again. Hope he'll learn to treasure it this time.

Anyway, Ben had gone to Thailand. Thought I'd be more free cos I have one task less - No need to fork out time to for him. But apparently not so. We agreed not to call each other for these 16 days cos the phone bill will cost a bomb. So we'll write a journal for each other. I spend an hour or more everyday writing in my journal, therefore, I'm actually spending more time "with him" than before. Haha! =D Hope he's doing well there. Believe he's taking good care of himself. =D
I kept snapping since we
reached the airport. Haha! =D

Thanks to Kia Yong for helping
us take this picture! =D

And thanks to Wei Jie's parents for giving us a lift to the airport that day! They even offered to sent us back when they come back from Thailand. So nice of them! =D Yup, Wei Jie is also in Thailand. Guess he and Hui Ping talk on the phone every night. Makes me so tempted to call Ben too. Have to constantly hypnotise myself that it's better to write in the journal cos we'll be able to refer back in the future. Hui Ping, let's count down to the 30th together! Haha! =D

Splendid Christmas 2009

My 2009 Christmas Gifts =D
24th December 2009
Spent this Christmas Eve with my beloved besties, Clar, Ming Yun, Yi Siang and Ying Yan, and my beloved Ben. We had steamboat at MY's house. Spent around 40bucks for the food. Each person under $7. Thought the food weren't enough but it over killed. Lots of leftovers. But I finished all my mushrooms. =D We bought like 4 packets, so it's like 1kg of mushrooms. I didn't eat so much mushrooms before but it was really delicious, and I couldn't stop eating until I finish them all. Haha! =D
I didn't talk much that night cos was feeling quite tired after work. Listened to the girls talk most of the time. At about 9pm ba, we exchanged our gifts. I got no. 1, it was MY's gift, a frog design tissue box cover. (Hmm, I wonder why I always got frog, last time YY's christmas gift to me was a frog design container too. Haha! =D) Just nice, I always wanted a tissue box cover, but always felt that it was too ex.
After the gift exchange, everybody was full, except me. Haha! Was still hotplate-ing the mushrooms while the other girls had already moved to the sofa to chit chat. They were discussing who would be the first to married, and was trying to recall who did they thought it would be when we discussed about it in the past. But for sure, it won't be me. But I guess it would be YY, Clar, YS, MY then me. Why? I believe YY, Clar and YS will want to marry around 25-28 years old. YY's and Clar's bf won't mind marrying them early. But Clar won't want to marry until she graduates and find a job preferably. So YY will be first. YS won't be that soon cos she hasn't been too lucky in her love life. Hopefully she will be able to find the right guy. Since this will take time, she will be behind Clar. For MY, she will observe for quite a while before being into a relationship and be really devoted to it. I believe she's a cautious lover. Whereas for me, I believe most knows why. I have a bf who wants to complete his studies, finds a stable job and ensures that he has a steady income to support a family before getting married. So, without any doubts, I'll be the last. =D
Anyway, after YY left to join his bf, Clar, YS, MY and Ben played mahjong until Clar was really tired. Then, we went to watch Avatar. It was quite an interesting show. But not really my type. The affects were good though and some parts were quite exciting. We watched the 1am show. Reached home at around 4am. Really tired. Enjoyed spending the time with the girls.

26th December 2009
The long awaited gathering was finally here! I was really looking forward to it cos I spent alot of time planning it and worrying about it. Glad that 17 people turned up with their gifts, except for one fat ass who brought some 2nd hand toy as the gift. Hui Ping was rather unlucky to have picked it. But I forced him to take back his dusty gift and return HP's gift. It was unfair man and really too over. Anyway, before the gathering, Jiemin, Jihui and Hui Yin came over my house to help me prepare some food. And Lionel was really helpful to drive over to transport the food. Thanks man! =D But we have too many people so JM, JH, Ben and I cabbed down while HY and Jon took Lionel's car there. We reached Kia Yong's house quite late, 7plus I guess? I thought the food will be half gone, but they had not touched them at all and were just starting to set up the fire. Thanks for waiting for us! =D Was really happy to see so many people there.
Was really worried that my spaghetti will have lots of left over so I started distributing as soon as I finished unpacking the stuff. Actually, I forced everyone to eat one plate! Haha! =D I wasn't too worried about the sushi cos it would definitely clear. In the end, my spaghetti had a little left while sushi was all gone. As usual, Ben and I became the bbq-ers of the day again.
Satay man! Hehe! =D
The mushrooms are mine!!! =D
Look at how engrossed Ben was. Haha! =DWe were also the food server...
Not forgetting a couple shot <3>
Around 9plus, I went around to collect the gifts and numbered them with Ben. After numbering the gifts, it was time to gather everyone for the gift exchange session. So each of us picked one number.
Sorting out the gifts
Everybody gathering around the gifts
After picking a number, everyone was busy looking out for their gift. Where no.___??? It was really fun and exciting.
Yeah! We got our gifts! =D
Let's unwrap to see what we've gotten! =D
Tool Ann's gift from Chun Siang,
a pink colour non-staple stapler.
It's TA's favourite colour! =D

Jovin received an extremely cute handbag
from Kia Yong. Nice one man! =D

Eugene really misses school, correction
tapes for David! Haha! =D
Kia Yong got the longest gift, it's a long
box of chocolates from Haoguang! =D

I got gift no. 7, which was Hui Yin's gift. It's a red hairy bear, 2 Disney pens and a blindfold. Good good, I can use it when my younger brother use the com till very late with the living room light shining into my room. Ben got Jie Min's chocolate, and he's now addicted to the Dove chocolate. It's really tasty and addictive, I like it too! =D
Hope everyone enjoyed the gift exchange session. It's so interesting to see the expressions on all the faces. Some really happy, some shocked and looked as if he's going to bash that person up, some didn't know how to react. Haha! It's simply so entertaining.
After that, everyone went back to their activities, some card games or makan-ing, while others was so fascinated by Soo Teck's gift. It was a hammock, belongs to Wei Jie now. So they took some photos of some dead bodies lying in it.

Corpse #2: Big Boobs David
Corpse #3: Crazy Officer Soo Teck
I believe most noticed that I wasn't really high that night. I was really worn out by the preparation. So didn't really have the energy to go around taking more pictures and initiate group shots. Below's shot was taken cos they were just nice there when I was holding on to the camera. Kind of regret not pushing myself to take more initiatives. Haix.
Happy Girls =D
Not sure when, they started playing truth, dare or double dare. Their double dare was really disgusting and R-rated. Seriously, I wonder how they had the courage to do such actions. Guess they were really drunk already. Some actions caught on camera:
Jie Min cover her eyes upon hearing the
disgusting act the guys were dared to perfor
m

Lionel and Jovin were to rubbed their nipples against each
other. Jihui really had a lot of wild ideas.

Guess what Kia Yong was going to do to Jonathan?
This is the answer.

Only those playing the 'challenging' truth or dare game stayed overnight. Lionel sent HY, Jon, SST, Ben and I home. So nice of Lionel. Thanks lots! =D He likes driving extremely fast. My hair was like damn messy when I got off the car. Yup, forgotten to comment. Lionel's car was actually very quite big and cosy, but one big butt purposely squeezed with 3 of us at the back. Thanks to him, I was merely resting upon the edge of the seat.
Really enjoyed looking at how everyone had fun together. Though the feeling might be different from the past, I was really glad that everyone was mingling with one another. A really big thanks to Kia Yong for opening his house for this gathering and pulling the guys and girls together! =D

Prior to the class gathering, we had a mini catch up session with Maria. She's in Indonesia so couldn't join us for the 26th. We met up on 13th, and had dinner at a Indonesian Restaurant at Jurong Point. Guess it was the first time Jihui ate meat with bone. Haha! =D Maria was pretty worried about her results and was extremely regretful for skipping lectures. Believe she will be attending all lectures when the new semester starts. Most of the girls are in university now, it's really hard to find a convenient time to meet up. And it feels like a decade since I've seen Yanjie. Always can't meet her, so unlucky. It's the second time she missed the class gathering. Haix. Next year, I may be studying too. Then, it'll be really difficult to find a common time. But will definitely keep trying my best to arrange a good meet up time. =D
After food =D
27th December 2009
I received my greatest Christmas surprise. Of cos, it's from my dearest Ben. He prepared a Christmas gift for me while I didn't give him anything. I did give him a earpiece and a shirt, but it's not given as a gift and is definitely not as meaningful as what he had given me.
It looks like a simply box but inside it, it isn't as simple as it looks. It's too sweet and mushy to reveal what's inside, so I shall leave it as a mystery. Ben really knows what I want and he always tries his best to give me what I want. He's always so loving and sincere, just can't stop loving him! <3>

My Bro's POP

9th Dec 09
Went to my brother's POP with my mama. When we set off from khatib, it was raining heavily. Thought it might also be raining at Pasir Ris, but the weather there was good, in fact, it was rather sunny. While waiting for the shuttle bus to the ferry terminal, we saw this fussy and petty mother asking one of the NS usher some questions. Another parent in the bus queue interrupted their conversation. Since the parent was already in the queue and was about to board the bus, the usher answered to her queries first. When he went back to help the petty mother, she reprimanded him, saying that he should have answered her first cos she was the first to ask. I was so damn pissed off by her sickening attitude. If his son was the usher and some stupid parent like her scold her for such small issues, how would she feel. The ushers are there to help and not to provide customers service; the parents need the ushers' help, whereas the parents are no help them. However, I wasn't daring enough to confront that mother.
When we reached the parade, the seat were fully occupied, so my mama and I ended up sitting on the steps.
Before the parade: My mama and I =D
Didn't wait long before the parade started. Couldn't spot my brother from where we were sitting so just anyhow snapped.
The 7 platoons marching in
Unload then warm upBMTC School 2 Song

POP loh! =D

After the parade. Bonding time.
My camera's battery went flat before I could use it to take pictures with my brother, so had to resort to using my phone. But luckily, there was free photoshoot provided. Since it was free, we took a few shots. Haha! =D They develop the photo instantly.
The first shot my bro's eyes were
closed so took another one =D

There wasn't much business for the photographer stationed there, cos everybody's in a hurry to go home. So my mother and I patronised him. I love the background. The photo taken was nice, just that I looked hunched back. Haha! =DBefore we left for the ferry
(Finally my mama managed to show a wide smile =D)
I must say that they really planned this event very well. Though the pastries served was *ahem* and the waiting time for the ferry was rather long, we were well entertained by taking free photos, and seeing how well my brother had bonded with his section mates. It was really an enjoyable day and don't know why, when I was watching the parade, I felt touched, felt like crying. Maybe because I didn't get to see Ben's POP or it's been long since we had such close interactions with my brother. Anyway, I was really happy that day, believe my mama and brother were happy too. And I was impressed by the free photoshoot provided. =D
